Above Ground Pool vacuum

Cleaning out a pool is a bit of a chore, but like all chores it must be done, and regularly.
Dirt and debris can collect at the bottom of the pool.
Not only is it unhygienic, but it looks untidy and uninviting.

There is a quick and easy solution and that is to vacuum it regularly, at least twice a week.

There are plenty of places to buy pool cleaners, and they are easy to fit together and operate.
They consist of a pole with a head that collects the dirt. It is simply a matter of connecting the pole to your garden hose and turning on the water. A vacuum is created which allows the dirt to be sucked up the pole and into a collector basket.

When vacuuming, the head is placed on the bottom of the pool and moved very slowly across the bottom. If it is moved to quickly, the dirt and sediment on the bottom of the pool may be stirred up.

When the pool bottom has been vacuumed, it is a simple matter to then remove the basket where the debris and leaves have collected, and empty it.

Water filters are also fitted, but these need only be cleaned at the beginning of the season.
And this is a simple job. Unplug the unit from the electrical outlet and block the intake valve.
Put the filter under a strong water spray to remove the collected dirt and replace it.

However if you really want to have an easy life, it is possible to buy robot pool cleaners.
Forget dragging around water hoses. Simply drop the unit into the base of the pool and switch on.
It is fitted with it’s own filter unit that processes 4,800 gallons per hour, and can remove debris down to two microns.

It will automatically clean every inch of the pool whether the shape is rectangle, round or oval.
Covering around 5,400 feet per hour, it will clean a 24 ft. pool on less than an hour.
The ultimate in labor saving devices.
